  • We help to enhance students' learning and personal development in a fun and inspiring way. We designed a signature programme in which we combine great outdoor activities and excursions with fun team challenges and leadership workshops. Students learn by doing and are accompanied by a unique combination of senior trainers, industry experts, boarding staff and Swiss mountain guides who facilitate a safe and constructive learning environment.

    This camp stands out in the level of personal attention, student development and integration of leadership modules into an exciting and active programme based on great outdoor activities suitable for all fitness and experience levels combining the best of the well established boarding school College Champittet and the extensive experience of The Swiss Leadership Academy working with students and schools from all over the world on personal development in an entertaining and inspiring way.

  • We happily welcome all students between 11-17 years of age who are positively minded, excited to make friends from around the world and who are keen to explore a wide range of activities while learning valuable skills.

  • The camp is an exclusive partnership between Collège Champittet –part of the Nord Anglia Group- and The Swiss Leadership Academy.

    Founded in 1903, Collège Champittet is a well-established private school in the Lake Geneva area. The magnificent campus is just a stone’s throw away from Lake Geneva and provides some of the finest boarding facilities in Switzerland. The experienced boarding staff, consisting of security, nurse, chef and kitchen team, all work together throughout the school year and summer camp which contributes to a wonderful and safe boarding experience.

    The Swiss Leadership Academy is a leadership institute which specialises in organising unique leadership modules and exciting camps to develop students’ professional and personal skills. Trainers include entrepreneurs, actresses, photographers, filmmakers, managers, outdoor enthusiasts, athletes, social media experts and musicians who all have extensive experience working with students. In summer, the team designs and operates the Swiss summer camp exclusively for College Champittet together with their boarding staff, industry experts and Swiss mountain guides.

  • Experience shows that students learn best when they are happy, feel safe and can apply the skills in a practical setting. Our programme is designed in such a way that students develop leadership skills through activities like expeditions, trips, games as well as evening programmes and various outdoor challenges. Throughout fun-filled workshops students learn several techniques that can be applied during all camp activities. Workshops are highly interactive and are given by industry and educational experts involving dynamic presentations, games, evaluations and personal action plans. Senior trainers work with students around the clock to give feedback on the things learned and how to apply the learning outcomes during the camp activities.

  • We welcome both day and boarding students. Most students join the boarding programme which is residential. Other students choose to join the day programme which runs every day from 9 AM until 6 PM. Day students can join evening activities upon request.

  • The boarding programme is CHF6.000 and the day programme is CHF3.400. Both fees are for the 2-week programme and are all-inclusive. Non-Swiss residents require a mandatory insurance of 250 CHF.

  • Our camp is a genuine international experience and we pride ourselves in welcoming over 51 nationalities from around the world. To guarantee a truly international experience we accept a maximum 7% of students coming from one country or a group of countries.

  • The main language spoken at camp is English. All senior trainers are fluent in English and the majority of our staff also speaks other languages including French. Our summer camp is located in the French speaking part of Switzerland, in Pully, next to Lausanne which offers a good opportunity to improve French-speaking skills.

  • Students share a spacious room with one other student. Rooms are allocated based on gender and age. Care is taken to house students with those from different nationalities to enhance their experience of gaining an international experience. We also cater for preferences to share a room with a friend or relative.

    The boarding house is divided into 4 residential floors and boys and girls sleep on separate floors. Camp staff lives in their own apartments on each of these floors and therefore are always within easy reach.

    All the rooms have their own sink, and for most rooms showers and toilets are shared on the floors. Each floor has a shared living room providing a relaxing communal space for students to enjoy each other’s company, play games or watch movies.

  • The Summer Camp runs over 2 weeks and there are 3 sessions to choose from. Alternative periods, arrival and departure days can be arranged after consultation. Feel free to contact us for any special requests.

  • We pick up and drop off all students arriving at and departing from Geneva airport. Champittet Summer Leadership Camp has a welcome desk at Geneva airport in the arrival hall. Transfers on regular arrival and departure days are included in the fee and the drive from the airport to our campus in Pully, Lausanne is about 45 minutes. It is also possible to organize a pickup or drop off at a hotel in Geneva or Lausanne, or the train station in Lausanne.

  • We happily accept students ages 11 to 17 years of age.

  • Returning students enjoy a range of new and exciting activities on top of the existing programme and get the opportunity to learn a specific topic of their choice in more depth. These specific topics of choice can be found under the topic "Returning Students". Returning students can also get the opportunity to organise some of the activities together with our staff. Please contact us for the possibilities; we always cater for personal learning preferences.

  • Many nationalities do not require a visa to visit Switzerland. If required, our camp is happy to provide you with an invitation letter that can be presented to the embassy which helps with the visa process.

  • Our chef and his team prepare fresh and healthy meals daily. All menus are well balanced and our staff is happy to take care of any food intolerances and special diets.

  • Families who enroll get access to the private section of our website where we publish daily blogs, photos and videos of the camp experience. Families receive live updates from the camp wherever they are in the world!
